A one-year subscription costs $99. The offer is to spend $99+ and get $99 back, so it's a free one-year subscription.

Get a one-time $99 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to make a single subscription-based purchase of $99+ online at The Motley Fool or at fool.com/amex [fool.com] by 5/8/2021. See terms.

Quote :
Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible. American Express Prepaid Cards, Corporate Cards and American Express Cards issued outside the United States are not eligible. Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels. Your enrollment of an eligible American Express Card for this offer extends only to that Card. Offer valid only on US website or at Fool.com/amex. Valid only on purchases made in US dollars. Offer is non-transferable. Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member. The enrolled Card account must not be cancelled or past due to receive statement credit. Any benefit earned from this offer is in addition to the rewards (i.e. Membership Rewards or cash back) earned as part of your existing Card benefits, but your ability to earn spend-based rewards for the purchase will be based on the amount after any statement credit or other discount is applied. Statement credit will appear on your billing statement within 90 days after 5/8/2021, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase. The Motley Fool Terms and Conditions currently provide that unless you notify The Motley Fool that you want to cancel, or that you do not want to auto renew, your subscription or membership fee will automatically renew for another subscription period (subject to applicable law) of equal length (for example, monthly, or annually). This means that The Motley Fool will collect the then-applicable membership or subscription fee and any taxes by charging a credit card The Motley Fool has on record for you without notifying you, unless notification is required by applicable law. Note that American Express may not receive information about your qualifying purchase from merchant until all items from your qualifying purchase have been provided/shipped by merchant. Statement credit may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned/cancelled. If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the statement credit. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. Send an email to [email protected] after you have signed up requesting opt-out for the auto renewal. After I did that, they sent me an email that said: "we have disabled the auto-renewal feature"

If you search online - you will find 2-year packages to StockAdvisor or Rule-breakers for only $98 (one-year for $59)

[b]For those curious how Motley Fool's stock picks are performing I setup a pie (portfolio) on M1Finance with 41 of the most recent suggested stocks from Tom and David. As long as I see reps coming from this thread so I know people are still using it I will update this link every Thursday to show the new recommendations.
https://m1.finance/2M-jgR32cPTC [Final update was on 04/08 due to apparent lack of interest].
M1finance gives you free trades and fractional shares which means you can transfer xxx dollars a week or 2 weeks and it will adjust it based on your percentages.
Advantage of fractional shares is explained well here: https://www.fool.com/investing/ho...al-shares/

For the people complaining about to much spam before you go crazy and cancel your account, go into your account settings and uncheck what you don't want. I have everything unchecked but the buy/sell alerts in stock advisor. https://www.fool.com/account/comm...-settings/

I just signed up. The first thing they do is try to sell you upgraded services for anywhere from $200-$14,000. The "premium" service we get is nearly useless. The last stock picks article is from December 28.
Swagbucks has 7500SB for the $99 yearly subscription as well, should be stackable for a nice MM.
Market correction coming soon for GameStop.

I signed up on feb 1 with the Amex platinum, and as of today no credit yet .

Did anyone see the transaction credited yet?

Perhaps related: the feb PayPal purchase is not credited either after 6 days. My Jan purchase was credited within 48 hrs. Did Amex change the timeline of crediting our accounts?
I got mine credited in about a week, and I did it mid-Jan. Not using paypal tho, I used the card.

My amex email came almost instantly right after my order, but no trace in my Chase portal. How long did it take for Chase points to show up?

Why not see if you can transfer the membership to someone that wants it if youve already received the credit? They'd probably cover shipping and maybe a couple of beers worth of beer money.
I am trying to get hold of CS for the past 2 weeks as I can't even login to my account.
No response or resolution in spite of multiple emails/webform submissions.
Worst company/CS ever, so good luck trying to transfer anything.

On another note, I had tried them long ago (10+ years??) and most of their picks
ended up being duds. At one point, they were repeatedly recommending the
'select comfort" mattress company and the CEO was actually jailed.

Most of their current recommendations are doing good mainly because a rising tide
lifts all boats and they also seem to be picking the known high flyers like OKTA etc.
Please do your due diligence before investing on their recommendations.

Only reason I gave them a second try was due to the Amex offer.

Quote from YanksIn2009 :
If you want to "appreciate" a group that works 10 months a year, gets a lifetime pension, free medical insurance, resists school vouchers because that would force accountability on them imo just like every person with a job in the private sector, refuses to go back to work because of covid while garbage men, store workers and just about everyone else does and does so all at your tax expense, that is your right. I am not in that group.
I appreciate your kind, not angry, reply.
Reply me (Anyway, I made a a typo - IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN, I AM NOT IN THAT GROUP): Firefighters, police force, security personnel at public places, politicians, this and that (al the macho jobs that can be done only by Caucasians Smilie even in Afro-American majority cities) finish their so called 40 hour per week job in 2 or 3 days, moonlight at sports arena, malls for second job and retire at 50 with massive benefits (How much the Parkland shooting famous security guard got as pension?). Where is your anger about them? Why single out the teachers (Yes, they work for only 10 months because that is their job contract; as a police guy, they have to be addressed officers!, can do a double job after his 40 hours duty).
And on COVID: For most of us, the poor, minority and foreigners can go and work on essential jobs (because Trump declared so) and we the previleged need the school for baby sitting etc. and we can enjoy our freedom! Don't forget the nation as a whole has become fat (figuratively as well as factually) that COVID has become death sentence for most. All are not Trumptys to get royal treatment. It seems even God favored such folks that they got the disease later in the game, not in the early stages (when the knowledge of treatment was zero. Even doctors can treat only the diseases they have studied and practiced in their med school and training)
I am just taking a contrarian view as group thinking is detriment to one's own intellectual growth and bad for the society and the country.
Good luck.

It does appear to have returned but with a lesser reward. There's still better one out there though. People should search around.

Anyone successfully contacted Chase for the missing points? I just talked to them, even though it's hard to make out everything he said(base in India), but he keeps claiming I have to use the Chase card to qualify for the points, which I know it's not true.

I cancelled my order for the service. The service was not good and too much emails coming over and disruptive. I can do a better job than this service can provide. Maybe I should start my own service and start selling it.
