I placed an order that didn't ship in a month. After several reminders they said they would ship after 3 weeks!!
Just avoid it!
FYI. Amex declined 150 offer due to transactions happened after 4/4/2021 even the order placed before deadline.

edit............ i opened an amex ticket and had to provide them with the email (that i luckily still had). they said they had no record of me ever activating the offer. they are escalating it and i have to check back within 3 to 5 days.

keep all emails related to the transaction. I had to prove that I had activated and used the offer with the email. They had no other records of me activating or using the offer.
it's a scam amex and steelcase have going on. Amex starts an offer that's good for 60 or 90 days or whatever. Steelcase takes the order and puts a new hold on the card every week or two and then does the real charge when it ships just outside the 90 day window.

In case anyone else runs into a similar issue you should call Amex Digital Assist Escalations team directly at 1-800-297-7500 (available 24/7 but I recommend calling during US business hours to minimize your chance of cussing out the reps) and explain the situation (if you call the Amex general help line they may not know to forward you to this dept that can actually do anything for you). For me they were able to see that I added/activated the offer and only asked that I forward the order confirmation email from Steelcase to verify that I placed an order $750+. I could see in my "Offers" section that the Steelcase offer was redeemed after 7 business days and the credit itself posted one day after.
