i've had these for ~10 years, kinda hate em. They don't come apart for cleaning/sharpening.

I have these exact same ones. The screw can adjust tension and completely come out to wash the scissors disassembled. However, I'm assuming the previous user is referring to scissors that have a quick disconnect for easy cleaning. They can disassemble without any screws or tools.

Yes, thanks, I've seen those with the quick disconnect you speak of.

That User wrote about the scissors not coming apart, so it didn't have either a screw or that disconnect.
