For those who complain about loud and hot.... Jesus what the heck do you expect? A higher performance CPU gaming GPU in a very compact form factor BUT it should be silent and cool?!
Get your expectations in line with physics people. Yes it gets loud and yes it gets hot when I run cyberpunk on ultra for 3 hour and I expect that.
Let me tell you something. The modern high end dell latitude a without a GPU also get loud and hot when you demand maximum processing from them.
50w of power is hard to remove. It requires surface area and airflow. Airflow in tight spaces requires air speed, air speed causes turbulence, turbulence causes noise, a lot.
Anyway I am super happy with the G14. I love how compact it is, and I love that I can plan modern AAA games on it, and I boost it up on a book and wear headphones so I don't melt my giblets or have by delicate ears distressed.
Rant complete LOL
FYI- This MSI aint a bad alternative for many that want a larger 15.6" and faster 144hz display for $50 less.
(Also Core-i7 instead of ryzen but has great thermals and similar build quality)

And this rtx 3060 new release from asus with 144hz display, also $1099

Based on the Review, I believe the MSRP is $1449 for this particular config.....
It looks like the reviewed this exact build...there are a few different models....
Very solid laptop.....
10hr of Non-Gaming use while unplugged is really nice.
It can function as a both a general use laptop on the go that does not require constant charging, as well as to do decent gaming.
Yes, the MAXQ is not as fast, but that may not always be the most important ...
Note: I found references to the new model
ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 & G15 (RTX 3060, Ryzen 9 5900HS, 16GB DDR4, 1TB SSD) pre-order $1999 each.
That can be a reference point on if you want to wait......
Clearly the next mode with a similar config (x900hs, 16GB DDR 1 TB SSD, etc...) will be priced well above the curren model

I've heard some complains about the noise but most youtube reviews says it is not a big deal , about the heat this is new for me ,but I think it is understandable seeing how it has ryzen 9
Temperatures were really great, fan noise is silent unless gaming, and even then the fan noise isn't an obnoxious pitch. One of the three had some lightbleed, but the other two were perfect. Even the one with lightbleed though was minimal compared to what I have seen on my Razer laptops.
