I got it a few weeks ago, it's expensive but can't imagine using something different now. Can connect bluetooth to 3 different computers so you can use same mouse to simultaneously switch between computers. Horizontal scroll is nice for flipping through web page tabs. Also enables you to drop and drag files from one computer to another. These are just extra perks on top of a mouse that is the best at all the basics as well -- feels great and gives support to hand, wide stable base, rubber coat feels amazing, magnetic vertical scroll wheel is so smooth etc etc. I usually keep my mice for 10 years so spending $80 is well worth it rather than spending $50+ on a shitty mouse and keyboard set every few years. Pair this with the MX Keys keyboard for $80 with the $20 off at staples and your golden.
PS - I also bought the MX 2S mouse for $60 slick deal from Lenovo.com since it's very similar to this newer MX 3, thinking the savings would be worth it -- Nope, returned 2S.

Since the amount of tax varies from place to place, the stated price is always pre-tax

I have this mouse now, having been using the anywhere 2s for a while. It's pretty good so far. Hard to say it's worth even $80, but there really isn't much that compares.

My one complaint is that they STILL don't include a spot on the mouse itself to store the unifying receiver. Usually there's no need for anything but bluetooth nowadays, but some work computers require the receiver (and also means if you frequently use different computers, you don't have to re-do a bluetooth connection). It's just hard to understand why they don't include such a simple feature, especially at this price.

I have two 2S's. I tried the 3S at a store. Though I admit I haven't used it at length at work or home, I did try to get a good feel for the 3S - at least as much as one can at the store. The experience seemed so similar to the 2S that I really think that the 2S at $50 is way better than 3S at $80. The build quality of the 2S is just as good. It's just slightly larger than 3S. They are essentially the same mouse. I know people say the 3S is much better, but other than a different click wheel the rest seems the same. And it's not like the 2S wheel is unreliable. It's been going strong for me despite years of daily use.

As I mentioned at the beginning of this thread, I bought 3S then 2S thinking I'd return 3S due to price since reviews said they are really similar. After having them side by side for a week, the feel alone of the 3S was worth the $20-$30 difference, especially being that I'll use it 6+ hours a day for the next 5-10 years or til it breaks. I'm sure if I only had the 2S I'd love it. The 2S is more narrow thus making it more tippy and not as comfortable in hand. 3S is superior with vertical wheel, placement of forward and backward side buttons, full rubberized exterior, shape of thumb rest. There were so many little things for me that if the extra $30 was a big deal, I'd put it on a credit card and pay the extra $10 a month for 3 months or whatever ha.

Thanks for this! Was actually looking for this deal! Appreciate it. Wish I used the $20 off for the MX Keyboard that I ordered 2 days ago, but this is still great.
Use online chat to see if they will apply the code. I bought both the Keys and MX3 on Friday with no code and they retroactively applied the code for me. Took less than 5 minutes.

Very minor... but you did it multiple times so I felt inclined to correct it, I'm sorry. There is no 3S. Theres only a 2S and a 3. The only reason the 2S is named as it is (and the anywhere 2S) is so that they could get the naming in line for both the Master and the Anywhere.

MX Master -> MX Master 2S -> MX Master 3
MX Anywhere -> MX Anywhere 2 -> MX Anywhere 2S -> MX Anywhere 3

I am currently using a Magic Mouse and love the gestures I can do on it. But I find it to be not very ergonomic. Does anybody know if all the gestures can be reproduced on this mouse? From the look of it, this mouse looks comfortable....

What would you say is the biggest difference between the two?

MX 2S is $50 right now and almost identical minus usb c and less convenient back/fwd side buttons. Can't justify $30 more for that
