Not always say the May 1st set has a buy in of $150 like the ice skating rink had for the January promo. Then your $89 clock tower will not meet the threshold so you will not get it. Also in May it is usually a Star Wars set like how this is a Harry Potter set so regardless of the buy in threshold you will not get the Star Wars promo rumored to be a Tatooine set.

ETA: the cheapest way to assure you get the promos now is to add this to your order as it should not go out of stock and it will ship with the promos immediately.

No issues here, but there was a notice at the top that said they're experiencing very high volumes right now, so that could be why. Keep trying and it should go through fine.

The gifts is roughly valued at $50, which makes it a very good deal. Even if you do not like those sets, the new pieces would be worth it.

Glad I was patient on getting the Clock Tower. Plan to sell the 3 sets for $40 - $45 to make up for the costs. Great deal! Wonder if they ship it all at once when it comes back in stock or if they'll ship out the other 3 sets.

They will not ship the promo sets unless you add something that is currently in stock. In 60 days or prior when the clock tower ships if the promos are no longer in stock you may get the current promo if your purchase meets the threshold or possibly nothing.

No, usually they just cancel the original free item(s) and you get nothing.

Always add a cheap item that's in stock with freebies -- keychain, Xtra set, etc. -- if you're ordering a backordered item. They will ship the freebies with the small item first.

Yiu may end up with a keychain collection this way. Personally, I always add the Xtra street lamps, which are handy in my city.
