This looks to be the newest gen version of the S2715H. Can anyone who's into monitors confirm that? I need to get another 27" to add to me array and the older ones are more difficult to find. I believe they're the same line (S27xxH) and the "15" and "21" denotes the year they're made but I'm not 100% sure on that. Based on specs alone they're nearly identical aside from the HDMI/DVI port difference and the older model having a slightly faster refresh rate and the newer model using slightly more energy. Otherwise, I think this is the closest I'm probably going to find.

same boat as you. I own an S2715h from a few years back and spec/size wise this seemed like the best option to pair it up with for a more seamless dual monitor setup. I went and picked up one from my local Office Depot yesterday

I went ahead and pulled the trigger. I had $39 in Rewards credit plus an email promo for a free $25 hand vac of some sort. Decided to go ahead since everything stacked with this deal. Total was $120ish to my door tomorrow. Pretty damn good and I have a feeling this will work perfectly with my older monitors.

1920 x 1080 makes this trash. The text is gonna blurry as heck on this thing. Maybe if you're using as a second display to watch video, but anything productivity wise is gonna suck.
I couldn't disagree more. Source: Rocking several of these in an array and they've been just fine for all uses. 10/10 would recommend.
For $150 this is a great monitor. I'm sure if you have an unlimited budget you can find better but you'd be hard pressed to find something better for $150.

It's largely because of what another user said, price for what you are paying for. Sure there will be other monitors around that price that say have maybe a better refresh rate or have more input options or what have you, but I see lots of monitors with those stats sell for around that price. Sure it's not high refresh rate 4k curved gaming monitor, but you won't find anything with those specs near this price.
You can perhaps find a monitor with a higher refresh rate or more inputs around that price, but if you want something with better specs you may look into something like this: https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16824012018

Ditto. The S27xxH monitors are workhorses. I don't actually think mine will ever die. The only reason I'd ever eventually get rid of it is due to the aging resolution.

I just upgraded from my 1080p 75 hz monitor to Samsung G5 curved 1440p 144hz deal that was $269...definitely a huge difference. If I was anyone on here I wud pay the extra $100 and get the higher refresh rate
