Perfect time to get the two Oculus Quest 2's for $500 + tax after $100 off. The new card won't arrive in time, plus only 1.5% cash back, but with Christmas coming up, easy to spend $500 elsewhere, so it will "seem to me" that the $200 cash back will go toward the OQ2's anyway. Net $300 less 5% using a different cash back card (+ $35 tax) for two OQ2 headsets!

Pre-approvals are never guaranteed. they got to check your credit first.
My FICO score apparently went up after paying off other debt so I think they only ran the one.
I would assume they prey on the people with worse credit scores.. It makes sense, but you're essentially auto denied for using a credit card properly.. *tin foil hat*

Funny thing, the day after I did this deal, I received the same offer in the mail, "You're Pre-Selected". So I guess timing helps.
