I have 805 fico and they decline my Application for Venture credit card and wasted 1 credit check. I won't be applying any Capital one credit card anytime soon.

No wonder why folks including me with excellent credit getting decline by Capital One. They want folks who can't afford credit and end up paying exorbitant rate. Searh posts here for many such similar cases.

Seems so. I talked with a friend who worked for C1 as a software engineer saying sometimes they accept applications that choose Sometimes on Carry statements option. Lol

This Quicksilver card is one of my favorite ones. Did a lot of shopping in Canada and no foreign transaction fees, unlike my AMEX.

Just got approved for this card. Credit score 816 with a history of 1 hard inquiry within the past 2 years. Got a Capital one checking with a few dollars in it lol.

Edit: I did a prequalification check with them before applying. Got prequalified for Venture X, Quicksilver and Savor. I didn't apply for the Venture X due to its high annual fees and ended up picking the Quicksilver for the $200 bonus and no annual fee.

Before you do business with Capital One, do a Google search "Capital One complaints". This company's business practices are shady and will treat their own customers like a criminal if they suspect fraud. They will restrict, close your accounts and even end your relationships with them even though it wasn't your fault. Drop them as a business and go somewhere else.
