From reddit pages, the creator mislead so he could get rep bonuses (make is sound better/stacking than really is). His strategy worked for him to get ref bonuses, but screwed over people who canceled their trials to get charged earlier. If anyone remember them extra nice Sam's deals that half worked that's the same thing.

If I go to activity, I see it as tracked and pending. Clicking on that it says I will get points in 27 days. I started trial on 1/30. If you don't see it pending, just cancel trial (or do claim later if you want to take that chance).
