I bought this 85" TV two months ago. Great TV. I tried an 86" LG 6570, returned it to Costco. Grabbed a Sony 85X90CH from Costco. The Sony wasn't bright enough for my living room.

Saw this deal for the Hisense at Best Buy for $999, plus I used my Best Buy card to get no interest for 18 months.

I set up the Hisense on the floor directly below the wall mounted Sony 90CH. The difference blew my mind. My family and I all agreed the Hisense looked better for all content I played.

Plus, it's $1000 less than the $2000 Sony.

Great great value here folks. Enjoy

The Hisense H6510G is an okay budget-friendly TV. It's a Black Friday variant of the Hisense H6570G with improved performance. Unlike the H6570G, it displays native 4k content perfectly. It has an outstanding contrast ratio and incredible black uniformity, so it's a great choice for watching movies in dark rooms. However, it's not ideal for wide seating arrangements because it has narrow viewing angles and you lose image accuracy when viewing off-center. It's okay for casual gaming thanks to its fairly low input lag, but there's too much lag for competitive gaming. The built-in Android TV offers a ton of apps available to download and the interface is fairly smooth to navigate.

Basically it's an "okay" budget level TV.

If you're all about the screen size and $1,000.00 finally gets you that sweet 85 inches, then you should go for it.

But this is no Vizio PX series, nor a more cost effective Vizio V-Series; it's not even a Roku 6 Series, so you need to consider all the pros and cons before you pull the trigger.

Basically, have you tried the TV yourself? Or are you just going by what the internet says? Just curious

He has a "Roku 6 tv." He must be a TV expert.

Bought it in December and haven't had one regret. One thing I will say is that an external source (fire stick, Nvidia Shield) gives a better picture. For
for $1200 total including the price of a Shield, it's still cheaper than any other 85-in TV you'll find.

This has been a previous deal that only lasted 24 hours (twice) . Most people agree, you get what you pay for, but ultimately this is the biggest TV you can get for $1k.

I have owned a 55" Hisense for 2 years now and must say it is all most people could ask for.
The picture was not that good out of the box but once I feed it HD it popped. A little more
tuning and friends were raving how good the picture was. If you are a perfectionist I'm sure
you would have some reservation but the average user will love it.

We've now come to sub $1k 85" class tvs, wow. I get this is a super budget no frills tv, but man has the price plummeted on huge sets in the last year alone.
