They have some other cards as well (if you shop there a lot the Wal-Mart one seems like it'd be good, 5% online or via the app, 5% with Wal-Mart pay in store for the first year, 2% in store otherwise, 2% at Murphy's gas stations - never heard of them but maybe they operate the Wal-Mart linked gas stations?, and 2% at restaurants).

I received a message indicating I would receive a response via email or mail.


I am assuming its denied. I have 2 capital one cards and have opened a couple of cards this year.

The approval Email says "Existing or previous accountholders may not be eligible for this one-time bonus.". I think it's not talking about having other CapitalOne cards right?

Its talking about having this specific savor one card. As in, you cant sign up again within probably like 10 years or so and still get the bonus again. And even perhaps if you didnt get the bonus but still had the card open before, may invalidate you. And obviously if you already have the card already and didnt sign up with the promo code, youre not going to get the bonus.

Got approved for $3000 with 699 Fico. I do have an existing credit card with Capital One in good standing, and a savings account as well.

So, i woke up to an email saying i was approved. I have a 1k spending limit.

This was the first time i did not receive an instant result.

As i mentioned before i have 2 capital one cc, but they were opened several years ago. I did open 2 cc last year.

I have a high fico score and carry a low balance. Im glad i got approved.

Capital One Visa card since 07/2002 - $7600 limit
Capital One Quick Silver since 10/2018 - $12000 limit

Credit Karma: 750 (TU) on 1/30/2021 (down to 745 today so took a hit of 5 points). Credit card utilization 12%.

Cards opened in 2020: 3 cards (Chase SR, SunTrust, BB&T)
