Is there any number that you can call for reconsideration?
I get stuck using my citi 2% double-cb card all the time cause its easier to just remember 2% on everything. Thats pretty much my go-to card. I hate trying to remember rotating 5% categories or 3%/4% on certain categories. I just stick with my citi double-cb card for almost everything. And then I use my citi costco card for gas and costco stuff.

I feel that. I (was) am a person who loved going out several nights a week so this card gave me like $600 cb (combined with the signup off) within the first couple months.
It's worth it for the $250 sign up even if you aren't going to use it for everything else. I think it was also 15 mos 0% interest.
Cap1 denies for many reasons including possibly you having too many other cards. They figure you wouldn't be npv positive for them. It's super conservative highly analytics based organization. Used to work there and know a thing or two about their practices

BTW people found out recently Credit Karma shows consumers higher numbers than what their actual scores are.

also I am pretty sure they use some sort of 5/24 rule as well
I do usually pickup 1-2 cards a year. Some I close others with no fee I keep.
For that guy asking about freedom flex.. the big money there is using it at the grocery store.
Picked up that one last fall. $350 cashback on groceries so far + the initial bonus.
its 5% for first year on groceries. the 5% back rotating categories are good for at least half the year as well .. currently 5% at wholesale clubs is decent too.
I expect the freedom flex to net around $800 total. everyone buys groceries right?
I've never really looked into this, but are there any cards that give cash back on international purchases as well, or does the cash back typically only apply on purchases made in the US?
I spend a good amount of time in Germany under normal circumstances, and they don't really have credit cards like we do in the US, so as far as I know, there are no rewards or cash back offers at all. Maybe AmEx has something in Germany but most places don't take Amex, at least from my experience.

I've seen some mention there used to be 4% or other benefits/cards. There's actually multiple types of the Savor and Quicksilver, some get better perks (one offers 4% compared to the 3%) but require better credit. There's a Quicksilver that has the same $250 if you spend $500, and there's another Savor that offers $300 if you spend $3000 in 3 months (and it has a $95 annual fee...).
Here's the Savor:

They have some other cards as well (if you shop there a lot the Wal-Mart one seems like it'd be good, 5% online or via the app, 5% with Wal-Mart pay in store for the first year, 2% in store otherwise, 2% at Murphy's gas stations - never heard of them but maybe they operate the Wal-Mart linked gas stations?, and 2% at restaurants).
