I was just reading about a deal on the PlayStation high speed hdmi , there were some that said this is a better cable. Can anyone confirm or deny one is better and why? Are these cables any better or worth upgrading what came in my ps5 box?

They aren't. They're if you need a replacement cable. Don't waste your money if you alreafy have an OEM cable.

Not a great deal. $5-6 is a better deal and can be had on Amazon. Look up HDMI cable 4K 120hz. Don't let the "officially licensed" marketing terms fool you.

1. Standard HDMI (Category 1)This is the "relic" of the group. You'll rarely find these in stores now, as they were designed for older tech.• Resolution: Limited to 720p or 1080i.• Use Case: Old DVD players or original Wii consoles.2. High Speed HDMI (Category 2)This is the most common cable found in households today. It was the gold standard for the HD era.• Resolution: Supports 1080p at 60Hz and 4K at 30Hz. • Features: Introduces support for 3D video and Deep Color. • Use Case: Blu-ray players, standard PS4/Xbox One, and streaming sticks (Roku/Fire Stick).3. Premium High Speed HDMI (Category 3)If you bought a 4K TV in the last few years, this is likely what you're using. These are rigorously tested to ensure they handle the full bandwidth of HDMI 2.0.• Resolution: 4K at 60Hz. • Bandwidth: Up to 18Gbps.• Features: Supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) and expanded color spaces (BT.2020). • Use Case: 4K UHD players, PS4 Pro, and Apple TV 4K.4. Ultra High Speed HDMI (Category 4)This is the cutting edge (HDMI 2.1a). These cables are "future-proof" and required for the highest-end gaming and cinema setups.• Resolution: Supports 4K at 120Hz, 8K at 60Hz, and even 10K.• Bandwidth: Up to 48Gbps. • Features: Supports eARC (for high-end audio like Dolby Atmos), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).• Use Case: PS5, Xbox Series X, and high-end NVIDIA/AMD gaming PCs.

This isn't a bad price on a cable that Xbox puts their name on. Like mentioned earlier, if you have the OEM cable you do not need this. I bought this one a few weeks ago for my Xbox Series X and it performs well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BRYJ...title&th=1 Some of the issues with cables sold on Amazon is false claims of performance.

That was probably me. I own both Series X and PS5 and the cable that comes with the Xbox is of much higher quality IMO. This is not OEM, so I do not know it's quality, but I would buy this over the stock PS5 cable. Will they do the exact same thing you ask, yes. The only real difference in my option is that for a 10 foot cord, it needs to be high quality to transmit correctly. It all depends on the quality, and length you seek of the cable and connection points.

I just purchased one as it's a reputable brand and it looks as sturdy as the original.

that's not true at all - I just bought 3 of Monoprice's HDMI 2.1 cables (same as HDMI 2.1a as they're 48Gbps) for less than $5 per cable. they regularly go in/out of stock, but they are certainly cheap quality cables

The bandwidth. 4k120hz+ needed 48gbps cables. Also called ultra high speed.
