Go deal hunting to various Walmarts and deal with hidden stick, 'lost' stock, ask-request-beg to employees is my worst nightmare. The deals are great but the time and energy spent is just not worth it.
Do note that the Walmart API is broken for this deal. I went to three walmarts around me that reported 6+ in stock at $99 but none of them even had a single patio heater. Just clearance grilling stock in the section it would have been in.
I did, however Walmart employees (at least in my area) seem to act like you're asking them to run a marathon nowadays when you ask them to check inventory. I think their inventory API and dealseekers are causing them a lot of headaches.
A few weeks back I went to one after a $39 Bissel steam cleaner deal came up and was reported as being in stock. I ran into three other people seeking the same deal, phones in hand checking UPCs on the shelf. Then I went to the nearest Walmart employee to see if they would check stock and they actually rolled their eyes and told me that I was the fourth person to ask them in the past hour.
I guess it might because I live in a small town and these clowns know I'm gonna see them from time to time at Wallys World or somewhere else, but they've always been really helpful.
When I bought mine, the employee had to grab one from the back and the box was torn and the bottom was scuffed, I asked him if there was another one and he said he thinks so. I then went to the back of the store with him and carried the heater so he didn't have to and sure enough, 3 minutes later he comes out one in perfect condition.
Maybe in bigger areas WM employees suck at life, who knows! LOL!
i got 2 of the firesense ones a few weeks ago. I have been storing in screened in patio and dragging out when we used them, would these items be ok to be left outside in the weather or nah?
I bought this cover for the Firesense one I bought a few weeks ago:
It's supposed to be a perfect fit for it.
I cover all of my outdoor stuff when not in use and have had the same stuff for 5 years now, and the only item that has shown any kind of rust is my Weber grill at the very bottom. Only because the Weber cover that's made for it isn't long enough and water is able to collect and rest on the bottom of the grill when it rains heavily.
Mind you I also take everything inside as soon as I hear about the first snowfall and put it in my storage shed so none of it has ever seen snow. I have no worries about this lasting as long as you cover it when not in use and don't let it see winter.
I bought the Home Depot version of this. That one is 48k BTU. It goes through a 20lb propane tank in about 5-6 hours, and my full tanks were freezing up after only about 20 minutes of use. I ended up converting it to natural gas, which was pretty easy to do. No more freezing tanks and natural gas costs a fraction of what propane was costing.

That's what makes it fun. I call that adventure! lol
The tank/LPG/regulator is freezing up, that is why you are getting reduced output after running it awhile in the cold.
The higher the output, the colder it gets and faster you lose output, so I run mine at the lower possible setting. Push comes to shove, you can have a separate tank indoors and swap them out after running it awhile.
