I can't speak to this dishwasher but I just bought a Bosch from this website and the whole process was pretty smooth. Fair warning, if you get white glove delivery you will have to pay a fee if they have to go up any stairs.

BIGTHANKS25 should give you $25 off

Can vouch for quality of Miele dishwashers. Ours is 14 years old. Still does an outstanding job of cleaning and never had a problem. Added bonus is parts are available for many more years than average Manufacturers should you ever have a need. Highly recommend.

I got a Bosch SHSM63W55N. It was recommended on Wirecutter and our friend has a Bosch that they were very happy with as well. I've only had it for a couple days but it's extremely quiet and was easy to install, I did it myself. The front either smudges easy or i have very greasy hands so be prepared to wipe it often.

I did have a lot of issues finding places that had Bosch dishwashers in stock. We had tried to order from quite a few places that said they were 4-6 weeks backordered. Originally we ordered a higher end model from Appliances Connection because it said the model we wanted wasn't in stock for a couple weeks. We ended up getting a message that the model we ordered wasn't in stock yet but we could swap it for the Bosch SHSM63W55N which had just come back in stock, which is what we had wanted in the first place.

edit: i will say Wirecutter rated Miele as an overall better brand saying on average their dishwashers last twice as long as other ones. They rated a more expensive model as their upgrade pick. I would definitely compare the options between them I don't think you can go wrong with either brand.

I have a Bosch and love it - very quiet. My ex-gf had a Miele and I personally thought the performance was comparable to the Bosch (I mean both clean well and are near silent).

That said, I'd opt for the Miele everything else being equal. It's a higher end brand and everyone talks to how long their products last.

Miele and Asko are the Best dishwasher you can buy. Miele dishwasher at such a low price is a deal and anyone planning to buy a dishwasher should jump on this deal. Miele dishwasher with salt compartment/or not look brand new inside after ten year plus.

For those DIY installation:

One (1) Year or Two (2) Year Limited Warranty - Any warranty claims for residential Miele Products must be received by Miele within one (1) year from the date of purchase. If the Miele Product was properly installed and registered by an Authorized Miele Installer, this Limited Warranty will be extended for an additional (1) year.

So you get 2 years warranty if you get it properly installed by an authorized Miele installer, one good thing about paying for the Miele installation is the guy will inspect the dishwasher before coming to your house and it's professional done.

I can't vouch for this particular model. But I have the $999 one that I installed myself about 3 months ago. It replaced my 14 year old Bosch 800 series. I am completely impressed by the build quality, it cleans very well and hold more dishes than my old Bosch. I have new Bosch dishwashers in the office and I personally prefer Miele. It just feels more refined.
I did have an issue of a seized water impeller right after the installation. It was apparently due to the washer sitting in storage for too long. To fixed it I had to put hot water in the tub 4-5 times to 'lubricate' the impeller. It's a known issue.
Other than that I am 100% satisfied.

Be wary of Appliance Connection. very shady site and customer service. Ordered a fridigidaire refrigerator and it arrived dented. They promised to send a replacement part (side door) and install it. It has been 3 months and they said it will take another 3 months. Checked BBB site and there are tons of cases similar to mine (seems like they sell dented / damaged products or their delivery service is not great (thus damage rate is high). Their customer service is a joke too. Better off using Lowes or Home Depot as the customer service is better. Good luck

Is this portable, I have a rental unit with no dish washer, I was planning to get a portable one. How easy will be the installation? would it be an invasive process to set it up?

I ordered a Refrigerator from them and cancelled it a few hours later. It was difficult to get them to cancel it....less than a week later, I had to cancel my credit card due to a fraudulent charge. Not saying it was connected but glad I caught the charge as soon as it appeared ($2500)

If you don't purchase the $149 installation. I guess it means automatically 1 year warranty. And some manufacturer also require new installation kits for full warranty

So...I watched a video recently on youtube about a man testing dishwashers....turns out many people don't use them right.

#1 prime the hot water to your sink (if washer is attached to same line). So you get hot water instantly in the washer.

Here it is https://youtu.be/_rBO8neWw04
#2 use the pre wash, not just the main.....tide pod looking thing. This effectively doubles the wash.

I have this dishwasher. I paid $1000 for it two years ago at NFM. It's very quiet and hasn't had any issues. You will not need any kind of install kit, the hoses are integrated.

At that price for repairs, where you could've bought a new dishwasher for the same price, did you still think the Miele was worth it? Considering this deal but the cost of potential repairs is daunting.
So I got mine as part of the appliances package I selected for my new home (was a $2000 dishwasher I got for $900 since they were clearing them out for the new redesign at the time). I contemplated many times whether I should spend the money considering the original MSRP and the Miele matching with the other Miele appliances I had. At the end of the day I decided to replace it since it never worked right and left us with so much downtime.

The Miele was built better than the top of the line Bosch I replaced it with. The racks were way better quality and the spray arms in the Bosch. Drying performance was better on the Miele and so was the 3rd rack configuration. With that being said the Bosch I have isn't bad. It keeps going day after day cycle after cycle. I run it once at least every day and it never stops. As a general rule we don't put plastic in the dishwasher and everything comes out bone dry (uses auto, sanitize, and extended dry) without rinse aid and the samsclub or Costco brand tablets. Even with all of this I'd say that I'd stick with my Bosch. Sure it may be no repairs with the Miele but the repairs will be cheaper and you can diy if ya ever need to. If I was on the fence I'd really make sure Miele has amazing reliability before making this purchase otherwise
