I bought this for $35. I gave up after 40 hours. Valhalla is good, but it is just bloated with repeditive tasks. There is also a bug that corrupted my save game which I lost a few hours of work. I gave up after that. I've played all the Assassin's Creed games for the modern story line. I should really give up on this franchise.

I'd recommend this for any fans of the AC series, especially at this price. I'm only about 10 hrs in on an Xbox One X version I bought at release-time. Haven't had time to get deep into it yet, but I like it so far and anticipate being able to spend a lot of time exploring. My disc version would work on an Xbox Series X if I could get one. So, no-go there.

So I decided to get the PS5 disc version in this deal and hope to dig into it more on that platform which I was lucky enough to get due to the Sony PSN-account-holder-reservation system which actually worked way better than most online things Sony has administered.

I ordered this PS5 disc on this deal from BestBuy and they have same-day delivery from the local store so it should show up this afternoon. Last I saw, I think they had BB store employees working as delivery drivers in their personal cars, but it worked fine. And seems a better way to keep their people busy and employed and also offer better delivery than they could get through UPS and FedEx.

Just beware, not quite Cyberpunk but this game is super buggy in it's current state. If you have other games to play, do that instead, and wait for the expansion packs to come out and get bundled in.

How is this game compared to the original assassins creed and #2. I never finished the second but what I did played I enjoyed. I really enjoyed the first one. Have they made these games crazy complex or is it something you can pick up without being overwhelmed with a billion things to do?

Definitely the buggiest of the AC's and it really detracted from my enjoyment and opinion of it. It was very good, but could have been great. Odyssey was better.

I highly recommend people wait a few more months. The price will be lower and hopefully bugs squashed. And believe me, I am a HUGE AC fan. I've played them all, some multiple times.
