I thought it was a great deal until i found out that most of the parts are proprietary. Correct me if i'm wrong but even the GPU is their own custom GPU which means you can't just replace it with a full size 4070/5070 next time. There's also people complaining of thermal issues. That being said, ts a fantastic price @ $1199 for a 3070 but be aware of the limitations.

Considering the street value of even a used 3070 is north of $800 right now, this should sell out in all of about 6 seconds.

not internally on this chassis but you can buy an external slim USB DVD writer for cheap.

1st chat rep told me it could not be ordered until 4PM. Think I will just wait until then and take my chances. Way too much CB to lose out on by using the chat reps anyway, so its worth the risk.

I just bought a MSI Aegis system a few days ago anyways with a 3080 in it to replace my main desktop. Was just going to buy a couple of these to mine with for kicks.

Thank's everyone for all the tips. Got in, chatted with rep asking for this deal, Wifi 6 and Liquid cooling. It did take a while for him to prepare the quote and everything. But then there was a pause for a few minutes and he told me they were no longer allowed to do parts upgrades. Some kind of notice to the entire team.

I told him the base station was fine and got it at 1229 like everyone else. I had no Chase or Amex offers unfortunately.

I have the 5% Dell cash back offer on both my Chase Freedom Flex and BofA Cash Rewards card. The BofA seems to be the way to go if you selected the 3% category on online purchases. Will give it a shot at 4 pm, although it would be typical 2020/2021 if the website crashed and it sold out in a second.
