If you havent played this game in 10 years then you must play. Game has changed a lot since. You dont raid with guild anymore unless you want to do mythic difficulty. You can stick with normal and heroic just pugging. You can do LFR difficulty if you are a lolcasual.
How much time do you need to invest in LFR raids ? My life now can't accommodate wiping on a boss all through the night anymore lol. Former mt 40man raider mc , bwl, aq
LFR is for noobs. You can clear that in 20mins per wing. There is a raid party system now which is cross server. If you havent played for 10 years and come back you will see you can raid anytime you want. You dont need to be in guild to gear your toon anymore.
Ive pugged on all my 7 toons all geared with heroic and m15 gear. It is not bad. I lead raids and get kick shitters. Its a pug you can do w/e f you want basically if you are a raid lead.
Night and day difference vs the MC/BWL days. You can knock a section of the raid down in 20-30 minutes, they section the raids off into sections so it's very very casual and easy to run through. Dungeons are extremely fast pace vs the old school days, so if you are a tank you gotta know the instances like the back of your hand.

LFR itself can be very quick, especially if you have well geared and experienced players, but it can also take a long time (hours) if you're grouped with under geared and inexperienced players.
WoW today is significantly more casual friendly than it was 10 years ago. You will find you level up incredibly fast, and gear up relatively fast, compared to 10 years ago. It's only when you want to tackle specific end game content or hunt for specific rare things that grinding and time sinks come in to play.

LFR is basically a pos loot. There is ilevel requirement you gotta hit doing mythic dungeons which is easy af. Just roll a tank or healer then you can make a group easier. Once you get geared, you can chose to go dps.
Thanks OP!
If you are a new player or an old returning player, hit me up for a referral link! I will help you get geared and give you some starting gold horde only though
Which means super ninja time for the epic lootz eh?
