Believe it or not, Crane, in these animal/bug inspired models, are among Consumer Reports highest rated humidifiers... and for multiple years.

Good brand. I have two of these; one from 2009 and the other from 2010. Both are still in use.

But the ladybug has got to be one of the uglier options, but I guess that's subjective. I have the elephant and the dragon which I bought for $30 each. Not sure I would buy this design even for $10 off.

Had a Crane I used every winter since about 2010 but just kicked the bucket a couple weeks ago. Would buy this brand again, and for $20, it might just be this one.

These used to be 19.99 when they first came out like 12, 13 years ago. The price went up and up. They are very good and last a long time. Good stuff.

I have the elephant and it's kind of a pain in the ass to clean and dump the base which you have to unplug and carry or use a bucket. you are supposed to do it everyday. there's gotta be something that is less maintenance.

I agree, we had these with well water (filtered and softened) and they get gunky every night and to clean and rinse every day was a pain. Could spring for distilled water, but that adds up.

Great brand. Even fixed one by changing the supply fan. Use every winter for past 8 years. Quiet and non bright light.

I agree, I had two of these and they are a pain to clean. We have since moved on to larger capacity ones that are easier to maintain.
