Walmart sells Levi's jeans and brand name foods. Would you stop buying those also?

Basically, Walmart sells everything. Nothing wrong with "slumming it" once in a while.

Yeah I need to know too, this line is known for subpar color production screens.
For a $100 more you can get the lenovo on front page.

https://laptopmedia.com/review/asus-tuf-a15-fa506-ryzen-7-4800h-gtx-1650-ti-review-reimagine-the-bud... [laptopmedia.com]

"We measured a maximum brightness of 281 nits in the middle of the screen and 256 nits as an average for the whole area, with a maximum deviation of 14%. The Correlated Color Temperature on a white screen is 7150K – colder than the optimal for the sRGB standard of 6500K."

Okay, IMO I would count this as a bad deal. Now personally I am an Acer fanboy, and will note that the build quality of these laptops is really great (I own and use a Helios 300, my SO uses a Nitro 5). However, the sole reason that I wouldn't count this as a good deal is the 1650 Ti. Keep in mind, this is not a 1660, or a 1660 Ti; This is a 1650 Ti. Since the NVIDIA 3000-Series GPUs are starting to make their way to the mobile scene, the 2000-Series laptops are starting to go down in price quite a bit, however the one I'm focused on is the 2060 lineup.

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...vsm1091296

According to UserBenchmark, the performance you will get from that 2060 is about 50% accross the board. This is further proved by this link:

https://www.notebookcheck.net/GeF...598.0.html

The following deal I found is $90 more, and it has near identical specs to the OP's link (aside from the 4800h and the 2060, and the RAM). You are paying almost $100 more for the Y540, but you are getting a good chunk more bang for buck. Not saying that you should get the Y540, but saying that this is an example of prices starting to slowly go down. Also, as stated previously the following deal does not include the 4800h, but the included 9750h should work for most people (I can't speak for everyone though).

https://slickdeals.net/f/14827474-lenovo-legion-y540-gaming-15-6-fhd-144hz-ips-i7-9750h-16gb-ddr4-512gb-pcie-ssd-rtx-2060-win10h-899-f-s?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1

Summary: Unless you need the 4800h or you don't want to spend any more than $810, I would pass on this deal. The Acer Nitro 5 is a great laptop on it's own accord, but at +/- $100, you can probably find a better value.

(NOTE: I copied this post from another deal, so if something seems off let me know Smilie )
