I dont think its exactly flying off the shelves as its had some " teething" issues
Cheaper main board perhaps
Probably LG brand premium. The LG will be nicer out the box, and I'm not saying they have identical performance, but $1500 for a 65" OLED is a good deal.

How are you going to be using it? or what's your environment.
Personally with the LG CX you really don't need a soundbar, the audio is a big step up from the Vizio, If I kept the Vizio I would have gotten a soundbar, so extra $$$.
The LG CX has an OTA channel guide, the Vizio doesn't, if you're a big OTA watcher.
Picture quality tho, they are VERY close, if you're planning on using a soundbar + Apple TV type setup and watching movies endlessly? The Vizio is great, It's a display, don't use the built in OS for content and use an extra Chromecast Stick/apple tv instead.
Gaming... PC Gaming Xbox Series X or PS5 and planning on taking advantage of VRR 120? Eh it's still kinda buggy, BUT having said that, there's like 0 game support right now. If you're PC gaming the LG is better because of the gsync/freesync option, but the PS5/Xbox use HDMI 2.1 for VRR and everyone recommends not using freesync with the Xbox, so both work.
I LOVE my CX, but yeah, I paid more for it, but I think it's worth it for my viewing environment. Also, LG has been making oleds for 10 years now, and it shows, the OS is very mature IMO, everything about it feels mature. This is Vizio's 1st oled, so there are and will be growing pains.

I can't believe nobody thanked you for your very detailed review for people on the fence between the LG and this. So I will thank you and we need more people like you on this site to keep everyone in check. Thanks!!
If that OLED was an LG ( or sony) then my choice would change
Curiously though..A couple of stores around me have open box Vizio OLED's available
1299 $ will be an deal, as soon the 2021 model will come out
the P65QX-H1 is 1079.99 $ at costco 400 $ cheaper longer warranty not and huge difference to sacrifice 400 $ more for the OLED.
