Having said that I don't think this price is quite low enough yet vs. models without the software risks.
Vizio's soundbars are actually very well reviewed. This model in particular is roughly an 8/10 on most review sites:
https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/r...io/elevate
https://www.cnet.com/reviews/vizi...h6-review/
But as I said before, the LG C1 65" is on Woot! every few weeks for $1650, and if you have a Video Only B&M (west coast USA), they are $1399.

Not trying to be a purist but it is hard for great sound out of a compressed space (unless you looking at headphones). BIL has an atmos soundbar from LG, https://www.rtings.com/soundbar/reviews/lg/sp9ya, that rtings rates higher than this and it actually sounds bad.
Thank you for the info about video only though, I will need to try them when the LG 42 inch OLED comes out.
Even now after years of updates, I am playing PS5 or watching content on my Apple TV and the signal regularly drops. So I have to pause the game, or pause the controller and I sit there on the couch for 15 to 60 seconds staring at a dark screen waiting for it to renegotiate the signal.
If everything goes well it is back on and we are good to go, but sometimes it leaves the big NO SIGNAL display over the actual picture that is coming through, and it never goes away without you manually changing the signal setting to something else and back. This happens about once an hour while using the TV.
Additionally, the power on issue is still here after two years. For this one the TV simply won't turn on. The only way you can get it to display something is by unplugging it and plugging it back in. I have it wall mounted and this is a pain, this happens once a week.
Just buy anything else.
How good is vizio elevate?
ALso, it would be great if anyone can compare it with the Klipsch reference that is available at costco for 699
