Amazing travel router. I have the ar750 or else I would jump on this because of the external antennas. I use this in hotel rooms as a wisp router (it connects to the hotel WiFi with either 2.4 or 5 GHz which ever is stronger) and then you only have to do the paywall once and everything that you connect to the router will log in fine. Works great for firetvs and other devices. I also use it with torguard VPN so connect to hotel WiFi then flip the switch and it turns on the VPN.

+1 same use-case. I use it with WireGuard to connect to home and TorGuard.

Runs openwrt also supports USB 4g modems. And microsd card if you want an SMB share.

Newer Beryl MT-1300 is spiritual successor but is bigger, uses usb-C and needs 3A.

Surprised the complaints haven't filtered further down. Might be worth waiting for the newer one if not needed soon.

Beryl is only $10 more with code GLFANS5OFF at https://store.gl-inet.com/product...-gl-mt1300 if it's your first order there.

Check Amazon. It seems there's often some issue that prevents these GL.iNet devices from shining when first released and sometimes afterwards. They are trying in a space many are ignoring. By now, the bugs should be worked out, but people are still bumping the reviews so perhaps not.

For the beryl version? I own the version posted and haven't had any issues with it.

I have had 3 different gli routers (2 free from torguard and then the ar750). Not sure what bugs people are talking about because mine have been relatively bug free
