It's the Chase Freedom card. (It should also work for the new Freedom flex card since it's almost identical)
One weird thing is that it shows 1% when the transaction is pending, changed to 5% once the product's shipped and you got charged (that's why I called Chase to confirm at the first place)
Urg, it's through paypal. I guess I will cancel my order and re-order it with my BoA credit card then.

Has anyone done the deal with Verizon financing for the extra $75 off? Does the 10% cashback key off the total price of the phone and accessories or does it key off just what you pay Samsung since most of the purchase price will be through Verizon?

They don't match before you order. It's after you receive your device and I think you have 15 days.
They wont match the price . Even if the phone is 1049-1099.00
you are getting the phone below that price.. Talking about s20 and s21 line

I hope you disputed with credit card and was taken care of?
I fought with Samsung and was able to get it resolved. It took a lot of patience and one great supervisor to get it resolved. Regular customer service reps weren't much help.

Many people had such issues in A71 thread. Not sure how they were able to resolve it.

Is it normal that they charged CA sales tax before any discounts? Or I am the only one?
Not normal. This is the first time I had this happen. Can't seem to find a way around it though. Tried on multiple phones and laptops but still charged over $90+ for taxes.

There are plenty of Pixel 2 owners out there and yet it's not on the trade-in list.

So if my case, should I get the "UNLOCKED"??

I'm with Sprint currently however, out of contract (paid off my old Note 9 back in Dec and now it's unlocked). However, the new phone will be activated on Sprint (porting my current #).

thanks.
You can order either unlocked or sprint. Benefit of ordering sprint is that it would come with sprint sim loaded, standard configurations, and other esthetics (aka boatwares). It should be unlock nonetheless, if you're paying in full. If it doesn't then sprint can unlock since you won't be in contact.

When you get your phone go copy the link from Amazon/B&H for the exact model and take a screenshot. Go to Samsung's site and do chat support. Ask for a price match and paste the link. They will tell you that a request is submitted. You'll get an email within a few days followed by the match.
In my chat with them they said they are already giving a $200 instant discount which is the price match. They told me they will not price match it due to that. Good luck though, maybe you will get someone naive.

In chat they did say that is an estimate and it will adjust once the phone ships and it gets charged for real.

FYI, VZW doesn't lock after 60 days and they gave me an additional 275 to use their financing-

Postpay Device Unlocking Policy

Devices that you purchase from Verizon are locked for 60 days after purchase. Devices that you purchase from our retail partners are locked for 60 days after activation. After 60 days, we will automatically remove the lock. Following the 60 day lock period, we do not lock our phones at any time.

You know the galaxy watch 3 was showing up as $320 for me but "50%". I added it to cart anyway and then showed up as $10 at checkout with all kinds of books and bundle discounts using edu. Total prior to tax was $518 trading a Note 10.
So weird. So I finally got the same deal as you spoke of last night. And then about an hour or so later, it was gone and the price went from $518 to $599 and is still there for the same watch/phone/trade in that I had before. So I bought one at the lower price and have not purchased the second yet. $80 is a deal breaker for me.

I filmed myself boxing up my trade in in front of FedEx and dropping it off. $550 could have evaporated into thin air.
What would happen if we did the same thing to Samsung and claimed that the phone was missing. Is Samsung just going to tell us to f!!k off?

Price changed to 1299 on AZ, BB and BH. Wondering if they will still do pm.
Also, people who sent their phones to Samsung in past, what precautions a newbie should take?
Many thanks
