Ordered the Note 20 Ultra with the "cracked screen trade-in" for my 2 yr old Note 9 ($200 value). I was going to repair my screen and the quote was $220 from a local mobile store so trade-in value is very good for a cracked phone, I think.

For whatever reason, my healthcare discount was dropped during checkout. Called Samsung and was on hold for 35 mins and rep was able to add in the discount. I think total came out to $900 something incl CA taxes. Also got the free AGK wireless headphones.

Opted for the 2yr Samsung finacing for $38/month since my plan is only $42 right now under Sprint.

WOOOW!!! After a lot of refreshing and trying incognito and other browsers I was able to secure the deal with the education discount. Here is the breakdown:
Samsung Note20 Ultra - $508.74 (discount $791.25)
Trade-in (Sam Note10+) - $550
Samsung Care - $11.99/per mo
Galaxy Watch3 (45mm) - $22 (discount $407.99)
TOTAL: $542.73 - 10% Rak10 (542.73 - 54.27 = $488.46)
$488.46 + Tax ($41.78) = $530.24

I got the same deal yesterday but with the 41mm for the wife for a few bucks less. Seems like a steal with the Gakaxy Watch 3

Yes the funny thing is I was only seeing the 41 mm until I tried the whole process with a new email addy and on a new browser (safari)

how were you able to do it? what browser/mode etc were you using?

I have been chatting with many reps about the education discount since wife is teacher but has .org email not edu. They said you will get an email at some point with the id.me verification you have to do. I have no clue what that is but she said if it doesn't go through they will just not apply the discount. So take that for what it's worth. I had it showing up several times up until placed order (not on her account) and it never stuck for me. Who knows if it will actually send an email for verification or not.

I did go through cashback and they say I qualified for the $52 cash back. Correct that only one of the discounts apply but the VZW one for 275 was obviously better and you can pay it off when you you set this up as lump sum if you wanted to not be billed over 24 or 30 months.

I'm about to reorder though since I saw the 45mm were showing back in stock. Rep said they can't make any changes to order so I guess I have to just order it all again.

Make sure your cart is empty, clear everything in browser, maybe create a new chrome user, login to R10, and click education discount link and you can save all this id.me hassle, I guess.

Well I guess I lost out. The first time I placed order they were out of the 45mm Galaxy3 watch so I added the 41mm one. It was a line upgrade through VZW. I logged in with the education discount site and it showed up until the checkout. I had to pay the higher amount which I figured I would just get adjusted with a rep. I have been on dozens of chats and bottom line is- they can't cancel my order as they said. They can't add in/swap anything like the watch that came back in stock, and they can't give me the discount. So I'm screwed. I tried making a new order (as they said) but that line I upgraded is now locked in the system so I'm SOL. I could possibly roll the dice, refuse delivery when it comes on the 22/23rd and see if they still have the promo then. Sucks but I ended up paying 74 more for the phone and 40 more for a watch I didn't really want.

I was in a similar situation. I placed an order and forgot to use my $10 Samsung points and to go through CB site so I placed another order and went through chat to cancel a few hours after placing order. Apparently you can only cancel within 2 hours of placing order. He said I to reject package if I didn't need. He then offered me 10% discount to keep order rather than rejecting package so I went ahead and did that instead and canceled the 2nd order I placed through cashback site.

Came out to the same as going through CB site but I don't have to wait 3 months to get the CB. Sucks that i didn't get to use my $10 Samsung pts but whatever. I'd rather not use then deal with the hassel of rejecting package and then having to call Samsung to correct any issues with the rejected package.

I still do have to chat with them again though when I receive the package for them to adjust my order to reflect the 10%. They created a ticket # so I won't have to explain everything.
