Personal preference will always be the best but I think 27" should be the biggest monitor for 1080p resolution. If you are looking for bigger, look at 1440p resolution capable monitors

Thanks! I'm in the market for a bigger monitor and have been researching but things have changed since the last time I looked. So odd that they would bother making one this large with insufficient resolution, but I guess it's like RAM so they use the smallest possible they can get away with.

Also thanks for being able to decipher my question. I just realized it was incomplete and a mess as I didn't check it after I dictated it. Gonna fix it now for the record.
