Good to see magnetic resistance at this price point.

Is there a difference between the resistance on this deal and this bike: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004O6TXVS/ ? This was $130 when I bought it.

Thanks.

Looks like the seat doesn't go high enough for people over ~6'2"?

Description says not recommended for people >180cm.

I know nothing about this particular bike, but I spin 5-6 days a week. If considering, I would highly recommend upgrading to the 26 lb flywheel. 18 lb isn't enough and won't give you a smooth ride.

I noticed that too...title says 26 lbs but price is for 18 lbs. But if you look below the price, it gives you an option to pick the weight. Heck you might be able to get WM to price match 26 for same price as 18 if you tried.

Have not seen anything with such a light flywheel before. Generally they are 30lb-40lbs.

Bought a (cheapish) one on Amazon that was twice this price and had to return it for some defects FWIW.

other deal here is 31lb from Costco

Some models from pro-form have a 18lb flywheel. I think pelaton, theirs is a 19lb... someone correct that if not correct.

Academy had a cheaper pro-form magnetic resistance on "sale" for around 599.00. Too expensive for me.

The one I got from Amazon has a 29lb flywheel with magnetic resistance. I forget the brand but I paid around 330 for it. Very quiet and does what I needs it to do. Just no bells and whistles.

You would want a bike that can adjust the seat 4 ways, the handle bars in a comfortable grip position, also adjustable. A tablet dock or holder, safety stop, drink holder. These are minimum what you should have on your bike.

At least a lcd or some sort that can track your :

Heart Rate
Calories burned
Distance traveled
Time for current trip
Total time used for life of bike.

If anyone decides to get any of these indoor cycling bikes, you should order a "gel-pad" seat. I got mine from academy in store. It's better to bring your seat that came in with your bike for reference when you are buying a new seat.

The seat that came with it factory is very hard and you can't ride for very long without walking funny when you are done. Unbearable. You can't make it to breaking a sweat before your seating area between your thighs are sore. Better seat is a game changer.

I got the 26lbs from the last deal and used it about daily for 2 weeks with no issue except adjusting the seats so no penile numbness.
