I had the cordless version. It will absolutely spray some unthinned paint, just depends on how thick it is. I was able to spray some straight out of the can but sometimes had to thin. It is also a huge PITA to clean and the cup is too small. I sprayed some patio furniture with an oil based paint that was too thick, I also had to fill the thing up a bajillion times. I buy the cheap ones for spraying stain on fences and gates, but if you are painting anything bigger than a single chair or small table buy a regular sprayer. More ergonomic since you aren't holding all the paint at the of your arm and MUCH easier to clean. This deal has been posted here several times, I bought one from here and it looked brand new. Yes, its a bit more, but also much more powerful and will spray all paint unthinned.

I recently got the below cheapo sprayer from Amazon [amazon.com] to paint some cabinets and was pleasantly impressed with the outcome. The finish came out pretty neat closer to the professional finish with some minor imperfections(mostly user errors). Below are some of the things I observed and found myself beneficial after using this product:

Make sure you use a better quality paint that is self leveling especially the ones that are intended for trim & cabinets. These paints are not thicker and flow better as they are self leveling. I have used Valspar Cabinet and Trim [lowes.com]
Try with different nozzles to see which ones spray better as different paints perform differently based on the nozzle size. Thicker paints do well with wider opening nozzles and thinner paints do better with narrow ones.
Clean...clean...clean. Make sure you clean up the nozzles right away after you are done. I had made sure to clean-up the nozzles right away even if I am taking a break from painting for 10 mins to ensure the paint does not dry up on me. Most of these sprayers come with a lid to cover the paint reservoir while you are not using.
Follow the sprayer guidelines and ensure the paint is not super thick as that seems to be the most common issue with these sprayers.

As a data point, this was $100 sometime back from HD.

Curious how this compares with a cheapo China model like:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PJGGQ9W

Some are saying that the Graco can spray unthinned paint, whereas cheapo China model can't.

Anyone have experience to compare ?

I have used that Rexbiti item you have linked to spray furniture, without thinning, with this paint
https://www.lowes.com/pd/Valspar-...1000380295

I also tried with a standard latex paint. Even after thinning it, I had trouble not ending up with splotches everywhere.

If you were getting the cheap one, and using it to spray thinner paint, like that valspar example, I think you'll be happy with it. If you want to spray standard one-coat paint + primer, I'd look at something else.

Thanks for the reply - what does "I had trouble not ending up with splotches everywhere." mean ? Did it leak on the floor or it sprayed out big drops and you get uneven paint ?

I bought the cheapo China model for around $30 during last BF. It works OK if you take the time to thin the paint and adjust the sprayer. It won't spray thick paint. It "spits" out thick paint because it can't atomized it. It took me several tries on test pieces to get a nozzle size and paint viscosity combo to yield a decent result. However, at the "right" viscosity, the paint is very thin. I ended up doing multiple light coats, which took a lot of time. With thin paint, there is the tendency to move the sprayer slowly to cover the material. But that wastes a lot of paint (tons of over spray) and too much thin paint tends to pool on the material and causes "orange peel". The good thing is that if the paint is thin enough, it will even out on the surface and leave it smooth.

Bottom line: the cheapo model won't save you time. You can't just dump paint in the cup and spray and expect good results. It also won't work very well on large objects. It just doesn't hold enough paint and you waste tons of it to over spray. I bought it to use on tricky pieces that are difficult to paint by brush or roller. (A light fixture, for example.) For that purpose, it works OK for the money.

Two different types of sprayers - generally for different purposes. The Graco is an airless - no problem spraying unthinned latex. The other is an HVLP sprayer - latex needs to be thinned - that sprayer is more of a finish sprayer - also for stains, etc. For small jobs. You could argue that the graco gun is for small jobs too since it has to be refilled so often, even if you add the larger 42 ounce attachment.

I have had very good luck with this one.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1

Even spraying very thick Sherman Williams Everlast Severe weather paint, it does great. At least 50 hours of usage with no issues. I just clean it up nice.

I own this gun and it sucks ! Just a heads up !! It doesn't shoot constant like if you were shooting with air ! A lot of heavy paint areas and light areas ! I don't recommend to anyone !

I have this and was able to spray Sherwin Williams Emerald without thinning. The paint can IS small though, so i agree with the above comment, if you have any major projects that need painting, look for the bigger sprayers. This one made quick and even work of our kitchen cabinets

I have a heavy duty airless machine and you still need to thin the thicker high quality latex on my machine. The cheapo $10/gallon stuff is thin enough but the quality stuff needs thinning IMO

I've had two graco guns, and an x5. You do not need to thin latex. I often use the behr latex which has become thicker over the last few years with no issues. I've never had to thin it. I did recently thin some with floetrol for a finer finish (different tip that you should use a thinned material) - but that was due to the tip and wanting to slow the drying process to have the finish flatten. with the standard tips that come with the guns, there's no issues with using non-thinned latex - even noted on the manufactures website that way.

with an hvlp you definitely need to thin latex - i've done a fair amount of finish painting with those as well.
