Or buy as many as you can, mine Ethereum on them for 89 days and then return them. Free money!

Just kidding. This will get your Costco membership revoked and cement your status as a horrible human being.
The PC comes with a 2 year manufacturer warranty if you buy it at Costco since they negotiated an extra year as part of Costco agreeing to sell the PC. If you use your Costco Citi Visa to pay for the PC then you get an additional 2 years of warranty, but that extra 2 years is handled through Citi via their underwriter.
According to nicehash, the profitability on a 5700 is just about six dollars per day after typical US electrical costs. So this computer should pay itself off in six months if the market does not go down significantly

This is the common response and I totally understand it based on historical prices. However, the same can be said about the stock market. You can never really time the market and sometimes it's smarter to exit the market earlier than later depending on your situation. What if he needs the money next year and the market bottoms out next year then its worth significantly less than if he were to have pulled it out today. Not saying this will happen but just a possible scenario. For $140/month it isn't much and yeah you probably wouldn't need it next year. But for me where I am producing around $400-500/day (this is after the huge drop) and have around $75k in equipment mining this may not be a smart thing to do holding it especially when so much was invested in equipment and returns must be realized at some point.
Oh absolutely, your situation is completely different. Yeah, that much $ invested you need to get that back asap. My take on it as a hobby and more long term investment. But I'm always open to dumping the payouts to an interest account if I feel it's the right choice.

Those numbers are impressive, you should be rolling in the dough, lol. You should have no problem covering that investment quickly

Averaging 55 now through TRM and 2miners. Nicehash forcing my hand resulted in the unintended benefit of less fees, and more learning. Second 25l is sitting in a box. Deciding whether or not to open it.

I had malwarebytes stop the mining program once, but after giving the exception to the folder it worked fine. I wonder if nicehash needs something else besides the main program to run, or if the file was quarantined and needs to be restored.
you have to add the folder into an exception list under Windows Firewall setting.

LOL we will see. Payouts have already dropped substantially and if it continues at this rate I am screwed.

So I see a'lot of you guys here are mining!

I am having issues with this machine without crashing every time I try to mine with it.
I can't leave the machine alone without coming back to it having the mining software crashed.

Maybe someone here can help?

I am using Lol Miner ver 1.21, I am using amd radeon software to overclock

These are my overclock settings in AMD

GPU
Frequency 800 999 1199 (for some reason I can get it to do 1000 or 1200)
Voltage 800 800 800

VRAM Tuning at 1856 and its set to 1860

My power settings show 114w
Fan Speed 2104
Current Temp 60c
Junction Temp 65c

are these the correct settings? I see alot of people use it but I have no luck?
Am I overclocking it too much?

My Current driver is Radeon 20.11.2 I did not update to 21.2.3 because someone else said on these forums the beta drivers causes the system to crash but I am not sure anymore because I still get the mining software to crash

Your frequency and voltage settings look fine, but your VRAM is too high.

Mine is set to 1810 and doesn't crash.

Anyone have any recommendations where to get RAM upgrades for this machine?
