Only able to have shipped. But i dont get the benifit of seeing the condtion, and if i want to return there is a 15% restocking fee.

Not sure where you are seeing it, but I don't think there is a restocking fee. Regardless, even with store pickup you don't get to inspect the item until after you complete the transaction. Drives me crazy, but that's how the stores around me handle it.

I once bought a zenbook 14x for $300 thst was open box fair, it was brand new with 2 cycles on the battery, it only had some leftover stickers in the lid thst I easily removed with isopropyl alcohol, but other than that it was flawless, not a singles scratch.

No restocking fee. I buy open box laptops all the time. Not once have I got a restock fee for any reason even if I simply don't want it

How do you feel about the difference between fair and good usually is ? Is the $30 on fair worth the gamble.

It's $400 more. There's quite a few tests in the youtube videos of the 256v vs the 258v and others. There isn't a difference but it's not always as huge as you would think.
