I've got this laptop and it's great. I also have an Asus with 15.6" 3K 120Hz OLED and cannot decide which to make my main laptop!
EDIT: Open box (Excellent) is $773 available for pickup (near me) and shipping.
What you do with the laptop has more to do with your RAM requirements than some blanket "32GB is the new 16" statement. For me, 16GB is more than enough.
That said, you can find sales on laptops with 32GB RAM regularly now if you need it.
258v is a good CPU. Will deliver good single core performance and great battery life. A bit worse in multi-core than the competition but the tradeoff for better battery life and thermals is worth it for most users, especially in the thin and light notebook category.
The integrated GPU is one of the best you can get without going to a dedicated GPU. Much better than the previous gen intel chips. The AMD Zen 5 chips iGPU is also on par. Both are noticeably better than the Snapdragon chips. This laptop will be fine for casual gaming and design work.

As per Intels spec sheet , the ones ending in 6 (like 256V) support 16GB max.
The ones ending in 8 (like the 258V) support 32GB max.
That means 64GB is not an option with any of them .
