I tried this with my iPad pro and didn't like it at all. It was a little jittery and not so smooth. I also felt like it was scratching up my screen so I stopped using it. I really can't recommend these unless you are using a screen protector and don't mind if it gets scratched and aren't an artist.

The fakespot adjusted rating is 2 stars, so lots of fake reviews bumping up the rating. I'd avoid this.

I've been wanting the apple pencil for my ipad for awhile! Is this probably about the best for the money, should I even look elsewhere?

For those who may not be familiar, the only significant missing feature between this and The Apple pencil will be pressure sensitivity. I do not own this pencil and have the Apple pencil. I use it often for note-taking and don't think I would miss pressure sensitivity. May be different for artists.

I have tries it. It is thicker than apple pencil. It is also not smooth and sensitive. But saving $100 might be worth. Also check if it supports double tap or not.

The brand doesn't matter. All of these are the 'exact' same thing available under various brands. One look at the image and description and you'll know. I have the same pen (some other generic brand). Been using it for 3-4 months now. It works quite well. Of course there is no pressure sensitivity at this price. But for regular writing, casual sketching and for use by kids it's very good. I'm not an artist and can barely doodle. A cheap unbranded pencil is all I need. No need to buy a $120 pencil. Plus it works with my wife's iPad mini and my 2020 iPad Pro. So we don't need two pencils.

I bought the same pencil in India for my parents, my sister, my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law. Same mass-produced Chinese product. Just branded differently. The same branded pencil I bought in US is also available in UK.

Point is - this is mass commodity product. Don't worry about reviews and fake spot too much.
