How do I qualify for a free Moto G Power (2020) as a new Fi customer?
A new Fi customer is somebody who is new to Google Fi on either a new plan, or a new member as a part of an existing group plan. Former Fi customers who have cancelled or paused service are not eligible.
To qualify for a free Moto phone, you need to:
Activate the phone on a new full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and remain active on Google Fi with your qualifying phone for 60 consecutive days.
You must activate on the same Fi account used to purchase the phone or be a new member of the purchaser's group plan.
You must also bring/transfer your number to the qualifying Fi account within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email. Fi-to-Fi number transfers are not eligible.
If you choose to get a new number, you will not receive the promotion.

Good price for the 2020 Moto G Power at $49. It appears the Fi credits only appears after 60 days. If you don't use data, 1st month $20, the 2nd month covered by referral, you should get at least 2 more months of service with the credit. So $70 + tax for up to 4 months of service.
Since T-Mobile and Sprint have merged, not sure what value Google Fi brings, given there are so many cheaper MVNOs in the market.
Up to 4 free data-only lines if you have an unlimited data plan. (or pay per GB otherwise). Good international service as well. I also think it's a little more secure than some other MVNOs since I have 2FA on my google account. But I wish it were cheaper, of course.
Not bad for keeping service for just 60 days. You can potentially get 2nd month free by using a referral code from any existing FI user. I've been a long time Do customer and have no complains

Did they change the requirements? I thought it was 3 months of service required and you could then port out. You could also get one $20 credit so if you use zero data or phone in a drawer, that would be one month free. (Minus taxes) So $49 for phone and $40 for service using zero data for 3 months.

Different promo. Before was 3 mos of service to get upfront discount on phones. This one you're rebated the cost of the phone in Fi credits. Except now they lowered the price of the 2020 Gs so they can upsell the 2021s.

So you now only have to stay with them 60 days to get the 2020 G Power for $49?
