Not to pee on your deal OP, looks great if Fi works for you. I've had a problem with runaway data when I've used them multiple times.
Metro phone has minimal bloatware 128 gigs memory, 6 gigs ram.

let him know that you will be transferring the numbers to Google Fi so he already knows there might be issues ahead of time. i recommend saying its for Google Fi and that you want any random area code as long as it works for Google Fi. this way you have a higher chance of successfully porting, and he doesn't have to give you multiple numbers or do double the work.

Steps for the deal
1. bought a boost mobile phone number to port on ebay, they run from $5-10. seller will provide phone number, account number and pin
2.join fi (you can use my referral link for $20 fi Credit - https://g.co/fi/r/EAAPY4 )
3.purchase phone and transfer number over
4.once you receive the phone, all you have to do is turn it on and connect it to wifi, porting process takes around 15 min to 1 day according to FI, mine took like 15 minutes.
5.Turn of mobile data(so you don't use mobile data- for individual plan it runs at $10/gb) sock drawer the phone wait out 61 days and you can disconnect services and keep the phone
cost - $10 for number to port.$20 x 2 - for monthly individual plan($40 - from which $20 will be offset by fi credit received after a month of joining using referral link), $49 plus tax (around $52-53)
total around $83-85 for an unlocked phone which is decent, hard to find cheap android phones which are actually good.
