I own both also and the reason you got so many thumbs down is because you're forgetting about what makes this Samsung so great.
120hz OLED screen with inky blacks.
It destroys the new iPad Air 2020 model screen. 60hz and annoying gray backlight bleed.
You have to go all the way up to an iPad pro to get a comparable screen.
Screens are important since you're staring at that thing 100% of the time.

I considered going through the hassle of buying the 512G/8G and selling my 128G/6G S7+, but since the S7+ has an mSD slot, I just can't justify the hassle of it all.
