Same situation for me. Definitely a plus without the needing the edu + trade in for the $150.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong. the LTE version is stainless steel vs the non-LTE version is aluminum?
Having the LTE option if needed is added value.
Any real benefit of having LTE if I'm not adding it to my plan?
I have the Bluetooth variant but this is the slickest I've seen for a decent LTE watch..
It's esim. I haven't activated mine, so I'm not 100% certain if you can have a separate phone number.
I was hoping for a decent watch in which I can move the sim card back and forth from/to my phone so I can use one or the other as needed. I don't want to pay cell provider extra just to have service on the watch once in a while. Of course, they still need to work together over Bluetooth.
For some reasons, Samsung decided to drastically reduce battery size on Galaxy Watch 3 and Active 2, compared to Galaxy watch ( was on sale for $70 yesterday).
You don't need to pay someone to create EPP pricing for you.
1. Just use normal Samsung account, and put whatever item you want in cart.
2. Go the order area for S21 line, and you should see a dropdown for various EPP programs. Click on Education pricing, and it will change.
3. Check out.

LTE is stainless steal and 1.5GB ram. BT is aluminum, not as durable and only .75GB ram.
