Pretty sweet deal considering the head alone is selling for over $200.
From Sweetwater's site:
50-watt mini guitar amplifier with real tube tone
1 x 8" speaker cabinet is voiced for a huge tone
Unbelievably small and lightweight
Nutube technology supplies a true tube-amp performance
Class D power section keeps the weight down while pushing plenty of power
Easily drives any type of guitar speaker cabinet
Weighs a little over 1 lb.
Seems like a great practice amp at a great price.

I've not tried either. I'll just say this. Brands like Vox, Fender, Marshall, etc. will always have more industry respect and resale value, and even if it was subpar to the mono price in sound quality; I doubt it would be significant. Either way, for under $200 you're getting a decent starter/practice amp but not something you'll really want to gig with (if that's your end game).
Personally, I'm a little intrigued with this Vox. And have no desire to ever try the monoprice. Just like I won't pick up a Squire guitar. Call me an instrument snob, and well, that's probably accurate.
You don't really need to focus on tubes. I personally think you get more for your money at monoprice with something like this https://www.monoprice.c
Yes I know it's out of stock but it's a little more versatile and it has an fx loop in/out which is useful if you ever want to add a looper pedal
You don't usually see an fx loop option under about $250
