Nice deal. You also get 8% back in MF rewards which can go towards a case or gig bag since this doesnt come with one. I got mine from Guitar Center and the first one came with a crack in the neck finish. The exchange went pretty smoothly and the replacement arrived in excellent condition.

If anyone orders one try to let it sit inside your home for at least several hours preferably up to 12 inside the guitar and shipping boxes to acclimate to avoid any issues with finish checking/cracking. Not sure if thats what happened with my first one but I dont think that was the issue.

Either way, the guitar sounds amazing and I was tempted to keep the first one and live with the finish crack but glad I exchanged it - the replacement sounds just as good if not better. Its amazing the consistency in sound/tone these guitars have even between different guitars of the same/similar model - I played three of these (one LF70) and they consistently sound great. Very impressed with these Alvarez Laureates - as a frame of reference, I've probably rotated through a dozen guitars ranging from mid to high-end to boutique guitars (Martin, Larrivee, Bourgeois, Mayes, Goodall, Collings) and this one ranks high on the list when it comes to value - dare I say it rivals my Collings and Goodall 🤣

I can't agree more then what previous poster said. This is a sweet sounding guitar and an amazing deal. I was lucky enough to not have any finish cracks but maybe it was because it was acclimating in my garage for two days before I could sneak it in when my wife was not around 🙂.
