Just two days ago I bought the same (I think) model through HP's website for $549+tax with the same specs, although it won't be shipped for another month. Is this, in fact, the same model?

Looks similar. I would go for the AX wifi for $10 more, and consider the boost to 16GB, total $609 plus tax, after discount.

Same base model. Did you upgrade the Display to 1080P b paying $30 extra or bought the configuration in the landing page?

Looks like you're right. I did upgrade to the 1080p screen and the Wifi 6 card, and the price was still higher than this Walmart model, although it takes HP over a month to build and ship its laptops. So this Walmart version is definitely a great deal
