Seems like a decent deal for word processing / spreadsheet / web browsing. Per Crucial website, there are two DIMM slots, supporting a total of 32 GBs of RAM:

I have one of these. bought it a few months ago for $550. I was able to install two 32GB sodimm for 64GB total

Very decent deal considering it has two sodimm slots for 64GB ram max. As well as usb-c with DP and PD and HDMI 2.0. And backlit keys

Also, take note that many new pavillion 14 with the 12th gen U cpu on HP site will no longer has sd card slot and well as fingerprint reader ;( . so if you want one with an sd card reader, this might be your only option. Sad because i really want a 12th gen or newer ryzen. however HP has decided to remove the microsd reader and fingerprint reader as a pennypinching cost cutting that really don't cost much at all!

Put in more RAMs (total 16 gb) and it'll do more than processing/spreadsheet/web browsing. I game on my Lenovo with similar specs

I agree. However, with 'Iris Xe Graphics', I wouldn't wanna characterize this as a gaming-first laptop. Perhaps "modest gaming" would be a better description. Smilie
