I bought this for $529 end of last year, but with 16 gb ram and a touch screen and an 250 gb intel optane drive. Quite like the machine so far, but battery is quite small (I knew that going in). Haven't had any issues with it. The Wifi 6 card is rock solid. I replaced the 256 gb optane drive recently with a SK hynix P31 1TB for more storage (I was planning on doing this at the time I bought the machine).
I use Linux primarily. Ubuntu 20.04 does not recognize the mouse pad, but 20.10 does. Battery drains noticeably faster on Linux, but that's pretty typical. Other than that (and that 20.10 in general isn't as stable/good compared to 20.04), it's been a great little machine.
This particular model went as low as $330-ish briefly around cyber monday, but not sure how many people managed to grab one at that price. I missed out on that, unfortunately.
