Is there a good forum/blog about this tax credit and general Tesla info. Looking to purchase in the near future

everything is slicker when the rest of the country is subsidizing the ones already rich enough to buy said thing
That's 21st century America, help the rich get richer and the poor get poorer! Slickdeal!

More seriously, I'm hoping for a $7,000 tax credit then the Y becomes way more affordable to a non-rich person like me.

I bet Tesla will raise the price if their cars when the $7000 credit goes into effect.

At a certain point, additional range is pointless. How often do you drive 400 miles one way without stopping? If you do that often, you should probably consider moving closer to wherever you are driving to all the time.
It's not about the range. It's about its energy storage. If sometimes you want to go to mount Shasta in California, you have to drive up in few hours. The motor needs more power to push the car up.
I am waiting for my cyber truck with 500 miles range.

Buy telsa stock is better than getting the car. At least stock can grow, car depreciated
Tell that to Enron stock.

Ever try to drive across Nevada or drive West Texas to Arizona? Every bit of extra range helps!
Yes every single day.

After watching numerous Tesla road trip YouTube videos, I'm convinced Evs are not the way to do it. Sure, they make it sound cool with the super charger stations with a Cracker Barrel next to it. I can eat while I wait for the charge. But how inconvenient is that? I would love to get a Tesla but I will never take it on a road trip longer than it's range.

I'd wait to see of they approve the new tax credit (or renewed or however you want to call it)
I'd freaking love a renewed/new tax credit for Tesla. This would be huge for their sales and makes for a great deal for consumers Smilie

Tesla fanboys- serious question. In a situation like 3 day blackout in Texas, how an electric vehicle will fare?

I personally think the Lucid is pretty hideous; looks like a really boring sedan. I think Nio has some designs that are a little more attractive than Tesla, but I think we're a while away from Nio selling in the U.S.
I feel the same about how Tesla looks.
