After struggling for an hour, finally, I figured it! These are my steps:

1. Google for EDU discount to Samsung.com and login from there ( I would use INCOGNITO for it )
2. Hover over the Mobile and click on the Watch section >> Watch 3, choose the Silver 45MM LTE (not sure if it works for the black one )
3. Choose no-trade-in
4. Add desired bands from OP's post ( I went with Novonappa® Hybrid Band (22mm) Black )
5. Skip the Add-ons
6. Apply Promo Code - PALETTEPANDA21
7. Apply Promo Code for the band ( found on OP's main post ). My Promo Code was GPTYR840BRBBW

Your total should be around $148.xx some change before the taxes. You can knock another $10-$15 off if it's a new account with a referral code. I opened a new account and saved more. My total was $149.xx with VA taxes.

What I did was mentioned a few posts above. I added the Galaxy Watch3 (45MM), Mystic Silver (LTE) with NEW account (NON-edu email) and then I added the Stitch Leather Band (22MM) Brown. Once I was in the cart I selected the educational discount program from offers (you just have to click that discount, no verification etc.). Once I had all in cart and price was 165 I added a ref code, and the other 2 codes below to bring it down to 141.07. I hope this helps

so i followed your steps but did not see an option to select an educational discount program. if i go to the offers page and then select student discount then i have to re-add the watch and when i go to checkout it asks me to log in. if i log in it doesn't apply any of the discounts? i've tried this in incognito mode w/ clear cached

Well crap. I got this to work to 148ish (couldn't get the band discount bc it was out of stock) referral code didn't work.
So now I have this coming an an Active 2 lte 44mm that I got with my S21 promo credits. Gotta figure out how to cancel the active or get rid of it
