Pretty shitty this year, no microsd card, only 1080p screen, no mst for samsung pay, nothing in the box like the akg earphones or the 25w fast charger. Doesn't matter what the big tech review sites say camera is definitely not a major upgrade over S20 Samsung must be paying a lot for the rave reviews to push the phone. Battery life is still pretty bad.

I got the phone and honestly didn't feel much of an upgrade over the s20 i traded in.

These were the some distinct advantages of chosing a Samsung over other phones but now they have taken away all that

At this rate a pixel 5 or even an iphone 12 is a better choice in my opinion. Both of those don't suffer from the terrible battery life that you get on samsung!

For those that don't know, Samsung removed the MicroSD card slot. Greed is literally the only reason for this move. Force people to buy the larger storage versions.

I think you can treated S21 as upgrade S20FE, an economic version of the true premium (the ultra), sacrifice few item (much desired but not a necessity) to get the cost down. I don't regret losing the akg earphones or the 25w fast charger, the 100 dollar coupon more than compensated for that, you can get a pretty high quality earbud+ or live and charger for the same price. Lets face 25w fast charger is not impressive at, since the Note 7 debacle, Samsung has been extremely conservation on battery and fast charge. Sacrificing battery capacity and charging speed for safety

When I ordered from Samsung (still awaiting shipment, now the weather is an excuse) the S21+ 256GB is costing $764.99 with an S7 trade-in. This deal is for the 128GB without trade-in, but I still think I am coming out ahead based on all factors.

Just link in the PC world -- you buy or build a PC, purchase Windows 10 for a low as say $40, or buy an Apple, essentially pay $300 for the OS and then get 'free' updates.

I looked at several videos side by side there is very little difference. I would really love to know what exactly you saw was different. I'm genuinely curious. For me There is slightly more detail in foliage,waves but you really wouldn't be able to tell if you didn't know what phone was what. It's baffling I hear people say they see a huge difference when I don't think there is. 🤔 the s21 can downscale 4k video to 1080p. resolution is not anywhere near a priority here.

Don't have any Apple products. I don't like Apple. Even with my disdain for Apple, I can acknowledge some of its positive points. Have been a Samsung user for years. The advantages that Samsung HAD over Apple are gone with this current line of phones. I'm one of those SD card freaks that doesn't want to hand over all of my pictures and videos over to someone's cloud server.
