Pretty shitty this year, no microsd card, only 1080p screen, no mst for samsung pay, nothing in the box like the akg earphones or the 25w fast charger. Doesn't matter what the big tech review sites say camera is definitely not a major upgrade over S20 Samsung must be paying a lot for the rave reviews to push the phone. Battery life is still pretty bad.

I got the phone and honestly didn't feel much of an upgrade over the s20 i traded in.

These were the some distinct advantages of chosing a Samsung over other phones but now they have taken away all that

At this rate a pixel 5 or even an iphone 12 is a better choice in my opinion. Both of those don't suffer from the terrible battery life that you get on samsung!

Just tried to price match with Samsung via live chat and was also told to contact them once my order has been delivered. I took a screenshot and wrote down the reference # just in case.

For those that don't know, Samsung removed the MicroSD card slot. Greed is literally the only reason for this move. Force people to buy the larger storage versions.

If they suspended PM on the 8th, that means they are honoring past PM, I requested my PM that I got earlier but was waiting for the phone to ship on the 9th and it went through today on the 11th

I believe they were honoring past PM promised before - they said they were processing mine after another agent told they don't do PMs any more. Isn't chat agent's promise considered binding contract on behalf of Samsung? This can be an argument in CC dispute if they just renege on promise. And they can't cancel sale and offer a refund without returning the trade in which they supposedly can't do.

Just got off chat with Samsung. They said no more PMs. When I mentioned that I had a saved transcript where the CSR promised the PM they then agreed.

In the same previous chat the CSR promised me a $50 discount because of the long delay in receiving the S21. When I mentioned this to the CSR tonight they said I cannot get two discounts combined. I pressed the issue based on the previous promise and the CSR said they will send a ticket to "my team" and they will get back to me via email. Not holding my breath...

Was it a chat? I called to a Philippines call center at 14 EST to complain about them cancelling my order because of "technical glitch", they said they don't do price matching between orders or any other offers. Asked for 10% to not cancel, lady said "What you see on site is what you get".

Well...sitting on a 21u that the return window closes on Wednesday, and was thinking about swapping it for the Plus instead (Plus is $250 of rn at Amazon), but with what I paid for the 21u, I guess I'll just be keeping it.

Hmm, I had my PM for $799 S21+ approved and transcript on March 8th.
Now the price on Amazon has dropped to $779.

So you are saying I should just try to get that preapproved PM from the 8th, and not go for the extra $20?

You can try for the bigger PM but I was told that they are not PM'ing anymore. The PM you had on the 8th should be respected regardless though.
