Pretty shitty this year, no microsd card, only 1080p screen, no mst for samsung pay, nothing in the box like the akg earphones or the 25w fast charger. Doesn't matter what the big tech review sites say camera is definitely not a major upgrade over S20 Samsung must be paying a lot for the rave reviews to push the phone. Battery life is still pretty bad.

I got the phone and honestly didn't feel much of an upgrade over the s20 i traded in.

These were the some distinct advantages of chosing a Samsung over other phones but now they have taken away all that

At this rate a pixel 5 or even an iphone 12 is a better choice in my opinion. Both of those don't suffer from the terrible battery life that you get on samsung!

Just tried to price match with Samsung via live chat and was also told to contact them once my order has been delivered. I took a screenshot and wrote down the reference # just in case.

For those that don't know, Samsung removed the MicroSD card slot. Greed is literally the only reason for this move. Force people to buy the larger storage versions.

Sucks. The person i was referring to had the custom Navy color with defect. And i was surprised that he said they were sending him a replacement, so maybe try asking different reps until you find someone who can help you. If you sign up for care+ insurance, if you file a claim wouldnt they fix it? I think i read that someone got a new replacement from cracking their screen through care+

Yeah, went through at least 8 reps, both customer care and tech support. All refused replacement. Without S7+ returned, $182 credit for the phone when returned.

Tech support supervisor said all he can offer is send it in to Texas office for assessment, then they will decide to repair or replace. Thanks Samsung for punishing your customers for being early adopters.

Yeah, have to mail it in and hope Samsung shop techs don't make it worse than it is.

I now recall I had to replace my brand new Galaxy S9+ a few years back, and they replaced it then without an issue.

Samsung e-commerce are some petty pricks. I had the 10% cancel discount honored, but that same amount was deducted from the $250 PM. Basically zeroed out the 10% cancel discount. I think it's because I used one of the 5% codes. My other order without the 5% code received the full $250 PM and 10% discount. Oh well not gonna fight anymore, you win some and you lose some.

Anyone have a recommendation for a good case for the S21? I have the Ultra. Picked up the Samsung case as part of the deal, but it's not going to work. The flap does not stay closed when it falls (fail) and there's no bumped edges to protect the glass if it lands face first. Already happened to me, but luckily over my desk from only ~8 inches. Plus, the book style flap gets in the way when you try to take pictures.
