Pretty shitty this year, no microsd card, only 1080p screen, no mst for samsung pay, nothing in the box like the akg earphones or the 25w fast charger. Doesn't matter what the big tech review sites say camera is definitely not a major upgrade over S20 Samsung must be paying a lot for the rave reviews to push the phone. Battery life is still pretty bad.

I got the phone and honestly didn't feel much of an upgrade over the s20 i traded in.

These were the some distinct advantages of chosing a Samsung over other phones but now they have taken away all that

At this rate a pixel 5 or even an iphone 12 is a better choice in my opinion. Both of those don't suffer from the terrible battery life that you get on samsung!

For those that don't know, Samsung removed the MicroSD card slot. Greed is literally the only reason for this move. Force people to buy the larger storage versions.

All custom colors are 4-5 weeks wait. Most have gotten theirs on the 4th week

I don't understand why people complain to get the latest and greatest phone for free. I was gonna keep using my S10 plus but Samsung wants to upgrade my S10+ to their latest and greatest phone for free so why not.

I order a phantom titanium and phantom navy and both took about 5 weeks. I think it could have came a bit earlier but there was a weather condition problem in Texas.

Curious about this as well. Got my first Samsung phone this year (S21+) because of all the crazy deals but was still planning on using my iPhone mainly with the Samsung on the side to see if I could get used to it.

When the S21 first came out there were a lot of posts on here but I wasn't really interested at the time so I only skimmed them. IIRC, the best deals w/ trade in may have been during pre-order where they gave crazy high trade values, even for slightly older phones and a bunch of accessories credits on top.

In the past few weeks they have eliminated competitive price match, limited what devices coupons can be applied to, and severely limited the number of coupons that can be used compared to earlier in the year when the phone first came out.

I mention this because I feel like next time around, it could be very different compared to this year if the policies and practices stay the same.

I'll check out the older pre-order posts to see what they were like but it could just be that the phones were free after selling some of the accessories such as Buds, watches, etc.

Anyone having any issues with S21 battery life? I am getting about 4 hours of screen on time with mixed usage of web browsing + YouTube + bit of navigation.
My screen is set to Adaptive 120Hz and Always on Display is off. Did I receive a defective device or this is normal?
