we just bought a new hybrid king mattress. we were comparing between: Bear, Brooklyn, Dreamcloud, Cocoon, and Ghost Bed. The trend seems to be that a decent hybrid mattress is at least 12 inches thick (most are 13 or 14 with the cover). All give you a full rundown of their construction and materials used. They've all been reviewed and compared. AND, they all have 100+ night free refunds (a local charity will take the mattress away). Look up reviews on mattressclarity, sleepopolis, and myslumberyard. <- they have coupon codes too
we are currently sleeping on / testing out the Bear Hybrid

We have a 5 yr old tempur pedic, I felt the BRX800 was more comfortable on my back. But then again, the tempur pedic had sunken in over the yrs.
My only critisim is that the corners of this mattress are warped up even after we left it alone for a week. Not a major issue for us, we are using it for our guest room and it's covered in bedding and comforter.
The main line is 13" as opposed to 10" Now I actually would prefer 10" but I am a little worried that apprently no one sells it but... buydig and walmart?
Note that the main line BR hybrid is 699.
