I'd say go ahead and just look out for a PS5 at this point. It's just slightly more and you'll probably get more out of it. Should be becoming more available in the coming months.
For anyone wondering, I was able to "Add to Library" on the Playstation store via Desktop even though I already "own" the game from the PS+ Collection. So make sure you claim it even if you already have it from PS+
Make sure you're signed in to the PS network.
Also good if you ever cancel your PS+ membership
Probably not. I'm assuming it like you're already subscribed. They are only providing it to new subscribers. I don't think they are giving free three months to the current paying subscribers.
You could probably just make a new account though with another card and email. That way you have three and a half months. 🙂
